Agreed! The new hairdresser is the local weatherman. The one I had thought about for a while was in LA on channel 7, Garth Kemp. Now I'd love to see him up close and personal.
As for the actual topic, I saw this and burst out into laughter. The B/F told me that he saw it at work and erupted into silly giggles while talking to a client on the phone. His client was good-natured enough to ask for the link for his own entertainment. Phew!

There *is* something about weathermen and being gay. I know from first-hand experience that two of the more popular local weathermen here in Boston are gay.
Also, a third weather-person friend (obviously female), once told me upon returning from a weather-caster conference that she doubted there were many straight weathermen at all. (Hel-lo, NYers, can you say Sam Champion? *LOL.) She also had some interesting things to say about Jim Cantore, who she has known for years, but I'll save that for another post.

Randy Shilts dated a weatherman for awhile in SF - but quickly tired of him and his dismal forecasts.

Several local gay weathermen here, including one who was arrested for trying to meet up with an undercover cop he thought was a 15 year old boy...

No, but I bet his personal ad on "Twinks4Bears.com" has had a LOT more hits lately!
I can't help but wonder if there is some network executive out there from the FOX network trying to figure out a way to turn "The Weatherman and the Cockroach" into a sitcom! wink
