Update: Quinn did not cut his hair by choice — it was part of a hazing ritual:
“Just an involuntary haircut,” Quinn said, referring to rookie hazing. “I don’t know if it’s ever been this short.”
Quinn was criticized by fellow former Notre Dame quarterback Joe Theismann for having long, unkempt hair at the draft. The comments prompted a “normal” haircut for Quinn when he arrived for rookie minicamp in May. “Joe’ll probably think it’s too short,” Quinn said.

I’m a big fan of his skills and presence on the field. His ability to instill confidence and control the offense is what impresses me. I always thought he was too much of a pretty boy and the smooth body thing doesn’t do anything for me.
The new cut is simply marketing. He’s had the machine running for the past four years. The new cut says I’m a football player, the new Brett Favre, as opposed to the model the media has branded. (That model branding is justified since he was a model in high school and continues to for whatever magazine wants to shoot a shower video or rub oil over his chest/arms/legs/etc.)
As long as he continues to be a leader on the field he can continue shaving whatever body parts he chooses.

Reporters at the last day of training camp said he was a bit grumpy being held down by the defensive line who cut his hair. All rookies got buzzed even some staff. All a bit of rite of passage. LOL It will grow as his career hopefully!

All I can think of when I see a picture of him is “What color is the jockey going to wear when he’s running in the Kentucky Derby, he’s so horsey-faced”. I just don’t get the appeal at all. Now, Tony Romo, Alex Smith, Matt Schaub, I get.

I was never a Kapler fan but Brady is 100% hot in my book (and I usually don’t go for the obvious ones like Bloom, Carr etc.) So don’t you mess with him!

I think the idiots who did that to Brady should be prosecuted. Isn’t hazing illegal these days? To have this crap going on in a professional sport is really juvenile. It’s clear from Brady’s comments that he didn’t want it to happen. The Browns players and coaching staff need to get a grip and treat Brady with respect. They’ll be kissing Brady’s feet before long. Now THAT’S a ritual some of us would like to attend!

NOW he looks like he can compete with the other Cleveland quarterbacks .They looked like mature men- he looked liked the silly little brother before. I think it is an age difference thing – the college & highschoolers are all looking floppy headed now days! Quinn was just a fashion follower! My motto – is cut the hair on the head short as you want just don’t cut any of your hair that resides below the shoulders.

I think Jake makes a good point but at the same time that degree of hazing isn’t quite as bad as it used to be. When I was in high school the offensive linemen had to run monsters with a grape in their buttcrack and the last one done had to eat them. I was never last but I’d rather have my head shaved than to eat those marinated grapes.

Who cares about his hair looks with that face and that body? (Although I do like the short hair because it shows off his facial features…but I liked the long “moppy” look too.) He is by FAR the sexiest man alive!

As an ND grad and a card carrying homo who sports a buzz, I can’t get all excited over ole Brady. His arrogance from senior year thru draft day makes it hard (oops, maybe difficult is a better word) to give a good goddamn how he styles his hair (involuntarily or otherwise). He’s got a great bod with impressive biceps…trouble is he knows it…..and it shows.
