		<description>Thanks Jim.  As you know from other postings, I am Tennessee alum and travel weekly in the fall to see my Vols play.  I knew of Jackie some time ago, but like many athletes -- particularly here in the south -- being gay is something that is &quot;not talked about&quot; by most.

Jackie is why so many of us love Tennessee football.  Why we love the tradition and history that is a hallmark of our great institution.  Perhaps this is yet another step to my college and others throughout the country to recognize the contributions and accomplishments of ALL athletes.  Thanks again Jim for wonderful reflection you brought in your post.
