Howard is a longtime friend of Outsports. He helped Esera Tuaolo, Sheryl Swoopes, Rosie Jones and John Amaechi, among others, come out of the closet. We profiled Howard here last year.
One of the things that’s great about this is that Howard asked his friends for no gifts, but that if someone was compelled they should donate to the efforts to stop California ballot measure this November that would annul same-sex marriages. -Cyd Zeigler jr.
