Cool Tug McGraw bracelet

I noticed a cool bracelet on the wrist of a friend I had drinks with last night. With so many issues-oriented groups opting for plastic bands of solid colors with inspirational words inscribed on it, this one stood out as it looked like the stitchings of a baseball. He said it’s for the Tug McGraw Foundation, which raises money to battle brain cancer, which took McGraw’s life in 2004. For those who don’t know, McGraw was a relief pitcher in Major League Baseball for the Mets and Phillies and is the father of country singer Tim McGraw.
