StubHub, the offical scalper of Major League Baseball, reported that prices plummeted for Game 5 of the Phillies-Dodgers NL Championship Series at Dodger Stadium, thanks to the Dodgers’ falling behind 3-1 in the series. As of a few hours before game time the average price of a ticket had fallen to $89 with some tickets up for sale for as little as $8. Eight bucks for a playoff game!
Meanwhile, some of those same fans — who have been stereotyped for arriving late and leaving early — decided to act like buttheads. There were some TV and radio reports here about bad behavior displayed by Dodgers fans. And here’s some video (after the jump) taken by one of those very same fools.

When the Mets played the Dodgers in ’06, a lot of comments came out from Dodger Stadium where Mets fans lives were threatened.

Seems like these so-called fans spent more time watching the the Phillies fans then they did actually watching the game. God I really hate going to sporting events sometimes.
But come on Joe…Dodgers fans would have treated just as badly in Philly.

Always possible, but I haven’t seen any such reports. My point, as it always is, is that bad fan behavior pops up just about everywhere. However, the coverage of such behavior is considerably lopsided.
Tonight on my favorite TV show, TMZ, they showed video of Dodger fans throwing beer — on police officers!
