However, don't completely dismiss his ability to draft. Shanahan plucked several 1000 yard rushers out of late round drafts. He has also drafted a great O-line. Yes defense is his weakness, but no body will argue that the Portis/Bailey trade wasn't a nice move. Well an era ends here in Denver, but hopefully something great sits on the horizon for this young team.
