I would have thought that wearing a nipple ring while playing football would be a wee bit dangerous, but that did not stop Brendon Ayanbadejo of the Baltimore Ravens this weekend at Miami. Does anyone know if this is common or a hazard?

I got my nipple ring caught on a car door once and thereafter always taped it down while playing soccer or basketball.

AJ Burnett had nipple rings until recently. Andre Either fibbed about it, but apparently had a teammate who, I’m paraphrasing, had a piercing that was noticeable in the shower. I, for one, want to know who in MLB has a Prince Albert.

stupid to wear a nipple ring on the field — but nobody said they were bright — football players after all … just because they are millionaires does not make them bright — just physical talents.

Well, sadly enough for those of us who size up a guy’s brain first, the many testosterone & pheromone excessive boy wonders who choose to play contact sports are less accomplished than rocket scientists, ’tis true. But, truthfully now, what sort of rocket would you rather intimately watch blast off, hum?

I’m a woman, and in a very rough reenactment fighting group. Not only are both of my nipples pierced, but I know several men with nipple piercings that fight as well. I’ve never had anything bad happen to me, but I keep them well protected also. (As I’m sure he does.)
However, I was told a nice story about a guy that was fighting with out his shirt at an even, and someones weapon caught his piercing and his whole nipple (apparently not that big) was torn off and lost on the battle field. And a friend of mine that fights shirtless as well often gets his barbells caught on peoples’ chain mail when he gives them a hug.
