The men’s swimming and diving team of Leland Stanford Junior University has been a favorite of Outsports for years. From the photo, you could probably guess 33 reasons why that’s the case. They dominated men’s swimming in the 1990s, winning four titles in seven years, but they’ve played second fiddle to Auburn and Texas since; They’re ranked No. 1 in the country right now. Still, with those, um, smiles, they do make an impression. Anyone need help shaving?

Hot and smart - best combination in a man.

When ever I see photos like this, I always wonder were is the diversity.

There’s a few hotties in there. I think California universities have far better looking players.

Mike, I think the diversity is lost on certain sports. Elite swimming is mostly white people; Elite football is mostly black people; Elite table tennis is mostly Asian people. Then you have sports like soccer that tend to be a real mixing pot.

More diversity?? Like in college and pro football? Like in college and pro basketball? Like in track?

Cyd’s got the answers. Except those rules don’t always apply to certain sports.
You see swimmers tend to be brown hair or blond hair, beautiful skin, cute butts, little chest hair, packages were gushing drool out for, etc.

So sick of everyone looking for “diversity” in every activity! It all balances out….more whites in tennis and swimming…more blacks in football and basketball. What’s the big deal?!?! (and, btw, those Stanford boys are hot as usual!)

The guy in the front center really needs to get that chest either trimmed or waxed.

the stanford water polo boys are hotter!

DJ are you kidding me? The only dude sporting some fuzz in that pic is by far the hottest. What he looses to drag in the pool he gains in pure hotness w/that sweet fuzzy chest and tummy.
Any pics of that team out there?
Yes, kinda hard to surpass a water polo players body. More muscle

Personally I don’t see anyone hot in that picture except the guy up front with the hairy chest. I usually don’t even like hairy chests, but just like with bald guys…there’s always an exception to the rule. Some guys can just pull it off. He is front and center where he belongs. The rest of em. Blech!!
Anywho…re: Mike Jones’ comment about where is the diversity? I hear ya but you have to understand about access and recruitment. Take it from someone who knows about being the only blatino on the tennis team, on the lacrosse team, on the soccer team, playing polo, etc, etc. For one thing, what swimming pools in schools do you know are in the inner city that aren’t private schools? Even in most suburban schools where there may be a mixture there isn’t always a swimming pool there. But, I do think there is a natural tendency to gear blacks toward basketball and football and not enough of an effort to recruit for more diversity in sports like swimming. Your point is a valid one and anyone who takes issue with it needs to get over themselves because if Mike doesn’t bring it up I sure as hell will.
Then again…there could be another reason blacks or other people of color on the swimming team. I’ll use that old Jamie Foxx comment…. “Speedos ain’t for Negros” (joking of course but I died when he said that)

give the guys a break, they are cute. I like the shaggy hair blond one on the far right. So where are the hot track team photos. I know there are good looking guys on the track team all over the place but the swim team is the feature. hmmm?
