Meet 18-year-old Bojan Krkic, a Spanish soccer player who signed his first professional contract with FC Barcelona at the age of 17. In his three-season club career he’s scored 29 goals in 97 games; Not bad for 18. Some interesting tidbits have dotted his young career. Last February he should have become the youngest player ever to represent Spain, but he called in sick. In May it was revealed that he had requested to not play in Euro 2008 citing personal reasons and fatigue.
He’s got an “official” Myspace page, so you too can be his friend.
More pics and video after the jump.

Mmm, I’ve been following this guy since his name showed up on the net over a year ago. I’ve seen his earlier games as a child from videos loaded up on the net and the guy was brilliant as a kid.
I used to take my jersey off during games in high school after the game, granted we won. Me and my co-captain started the craze. I once got asked by the girl I was dating then if I even wore underwear during the game since my shorts were low, I said I did, but the were low as well but hugging my body.
Bojan needs to smile. Never seen a pic of him with a smile, shame too. Two of those pictures show contempt and sadness. Wonder what he’s hiding.

Christ the kid doesn’t even shave yet. I was never that young.

DJ, in the top pic of him running he’s smiling ear-to-ear. And I found many other pictures of him smiling. I know I tend to not smile a heck of a lot when I’m playing – just very focused on the task at hand.

Eh, I was talking about a genuine smile. His smiles are forced smiles.
Personally my face looks like “I’m gonna rip your effing head off” when I’m playing.

Lol. Same here. It’s either anger or deadpan with me. Even when I’m celebrating on the field, it’s more out of anger and being pissed off than anything else. Then when the games over, I finally smile. Man, I gotta lighten up!

LOL. I think I read a study where facial expression has links to athletic performance just like how music has an affect on performance.
