Your forecast of the Jays treading water is interesting considering that 15 games in and they are at the top of the entire AL (as of Apr 22). Hope it holds out a lot longer.

alright well i dont like the prediction about the royals. everyone else on the web is picking them to be a suprise team. and we didnt finish in last last year. And in September we went 18-8. And have u seen our new pickups?

Coco Crisp CF
Mike Jacobs 1B
Juan Cruz RP
Kyle Farnsworth RP

and more. but those are our main pickups.
and we have one of the best closers in the game. And alex gordan and billy butler are ready for breakout season.
Gil Meche and Zach Grienke are very good pitchers finishing near the top in strikeouts in the AL last season. and SP Kyle Davies is getting better.

the ny teams are easy picks to make…they spent the most money in the offseason to improve weaknesses that cost them dearly in the 2008 season. As it were they both were near playoffs team last season.

Not sayin’ si is right…just an easy decision to make.

For the first time that I can remember, I’m not really all that fired up about the baseball season in terms of the team I follow. Yeah, the Angels will win their weak-ass division again, but so what? I don’t see that they’ve improved all that much, Lackey is going to be a contract distraction all year (and he’s hurt again), the 3B and SS spots don’t really fill me with excitement, Morales is a big ?? at 1B etc.

Oh gawd, Gabe Kapler?!?!
