Olympic gold medal diver Matthew Mitcham is showing no signs of swine flu after returning early to Australia from Mexico where he was attending a diving competition. He will stay home in a voluntary isolation for a couple of days as a precautionary measure.
Mitcham, 21, will stay at home with his partner [Lachlan Fletcher], who has bought face masks and anti-flu medicine.
“We got tested before we got on the plane in Mexico and were all asymptomatic,” Mitcham said. “I would have to pash [kiss] you for you to get it.”

You know maybe he SHOULD have gotten the swine flu intentiionally…he could have gotten an endorsement deal from the company that makes Tamiflu.
Seriously Jim, what’s the next headline? Mitchum Walks Dog? Spring Cleaning for Mitchum? Mitchum’s Bowel Movements Smell Like Roses and Cure Cancer?

Yea, the love affair this site has with Mitcham is getting pretty old. I’m proud of his accomplishment but there seems to be a certain infatuation here at Outsports. What about all the other athletes that traveled to Mexico? Or was Mitcham the only one that traveled from out of country to Mexico?

Well since he’s gay at least there won’t be much chance of him deep-pashing Aussie journaist Kate Corbett who has tested positive for “Swine Flu” in Britain after aggressively seeking testing:

I wonder if she will be allowed back into Australia when healthier.

Its interesting to see how since this flu outbreak people have taken up the wide spread use of these face masks even though here in the UK where I am its been stated that they offer little or no protection against H1N1 flu infection spread, the UK’s Chief medical Officer Sir Liam Donaldson in his recent public advice assessment said that if these masks are used inproperly or not disposed of in a clincial way after one use it will not be of any guarentee of infection control in short he’s implying there’ll be all but useless, so seeing Matt in this picture with one hanging around his neck doesn’t even to my untrained eye look hardly in line with clincial infection control
Here I’ve put a video link to the UK’s emergency Swine flu response tv advert as currently seen on mainstream UK tv channels at the moment.

Aww this sucks, and I was about to post those naked butt shots of Mitcham later this week. Well, I guess you guys don’t want them. I’m sure some straight women would love ‘em.

Matt Mitcham is becoming the Paris Hilton of Outsprts.
