Weekend hot jock: Tony Azevedo

When the U.S. men’s water polo team made a surprise appearance in the gold-medal game in Beijing, team captain Tony Azevedo was a bright spot for the team, scoring four goals on five shots (they lost to Hungary, 14-10). The Stanford grad comes from a water polo powerhouse family, with his father and sister finding great success in the water. He is considered one of the greatest current water polo players and was even named by Men’s Journal as the seventh best athlete in the world in 2003 — while he was still in college! He’s 6-foot-1 and plays professionally in Croatia.
