It’s not often that a pro jock — especially one from a storied family — goes shirtless in a commercial pitch. So it was with great interest when I caught the new TV spot for Gillette Fusion Razors over the weekend featuring Marco Andretti, the IndyCar star and grandson of the racing legend. To be honest, what caught my attention was a toned torso in a towel. Then I clued in that it’s Andretti, the 22-year-old scion of the racing family.
The Gillette ad is the latest in a series of spots for the company that makes use of jocks with big names and good looks. Remember the campaign with Tiger Woods, Roger Federer and Thierry Henry? The company’s certainly providing us with “the best a man can get.”
In the TV spot, Andretti brags that, “When I’m at my best, I win at every level.” So do we.

It’s not actually Marco “bragging” in the commerical – that’s not his voice! His real voice is a tad bit deeper and sounds like his nose is eternally congested.
I like though that the shirtless shot shows that race car drivers are a lot fitter than the non-racing fan might think they are. A lot of them actually do marathons and triathlons in their spare time, since it’s useful to build up the needed endurance to drive for 2-4 hours at 200 mph.

I wondered who that pec-tacstic hunk was, when I first spotted the commercial. He has an admirable set of pecs for a guy in his early twenties.

Marco is hot as hell shirtless~no doubt~but manly guys always look hot when they have their faces fully lathered up to shave…it has the very real sexy effect off ‘spotlighting’ his masculinity front & center…it magnifies his manliness so much it’s impossible to ignore~and so hot you don’t want to…a routine chore,but interesting arousing to watch.

Reminded me of the Indiana Jones costume previously. Let Marco grow up and become the man he deserves to be, his confidence is being destroyed. Would love to see him playing golf with guys his own age. Marco deserves soooo much more than this! Embarrassing, to say the least.
