MLB Network showed highlights from the LA telecast of the Dodgers-Mets game. Vin Scully on the final play, a throwing error that allowed the winning run to score (and perhaps on the game in general, in which the Mets made 5 errors — not counting the miss of third base — including a muffed fly in the 11th that set up the ending): “Marv Throneberry lives!” Priceless. (Only Mets fans and other assorted old people will get that reference.)
