It’s a road less-traveled that the hair of Denver’s Chris “Birdman” Andersen has taken, from shoulder-length to spikey to 4-inch mohawk. But if it wasn’t for his hair, few people would be talking about him despite his decent season (averaging 2.5 blocks in just 20 minutes per game).

Anderson is an incredible defensive player and a crowd fave in Denver. It’s loads of fun to see kids in the stands with his jersey and haircut waving their arms like birds after a great play.

birdman is my favorite player! He flies high, he makes the crowd go wild coming of the bench.him and k-mart have incredible team work.

Birdman will not make it another 12 months. He still drinks like an alcoholic, smokes pot regularly, and has a new girl in his bed every night..

I have to agree that Chris Andersen won’t be around for long. I agree that he’s fun to watch. But he’s a lost soul, tends to think the world revolves around him and he drinks to excess every night. The dark sunglasses aren’t to block the sun people, his eyes are so bloodshot from pot smoking that he can hardly see. These are facts. I’ve been around him enough to know the reality of where he is heading.
