Eklund is not a fraud… he’s very clear that his rumors are just that – rumors. And the site has become SO MUCH more than that as illustrated by the entry written by the contributor that is described here. It’s a great site even if you don’t like the postings by the owner.

There is nothing psychological about the question, it is illegal to ask in Canada and applies to all NHL teams whether US or Canadian. There are NHL players who are gay, I know of three in particular, there are probably more. Is everyone so stupid to believe that it isn’t possible and why should they advertise their private lives, we don’t expect it of straight players do we. If a gay player is going to be asked this question, then all players should be subject to the same question with a lie detector machine, at the same time they should be asked if they knowingly have used steroids or other performance enhancing drugs. It is like the question of gays in the military, they are there, in Canada they can be out and proud, it doesn’t hurt the morale of the unit because the gay people are usually the fiercest soldiers and won’t let anything happen to their brothers or sister troopers. Its about time we got over sexual choices and whether one is more of a man because he is straight or not. Give me an equal fight in weight class between a gay man or a straight man, I will put my money on the gay man to whoop the straight guys ass, and forget it he probably doesn’t look at his opponent as a sexual conquest.

Not sure what you mean by “fraud.” I ran the same article through an independent translator and Tatar did say he was asked whether he was gay. So what’s your point?
