Video: How to shave your pubes, chest etc.

Body shaving is one of those things that a lot of people do, but few really talk about. Athletes like swimmers, bodybuilders and triathletes do it for competitive reasons. The rest of mankind does it for aesthetic reasons. It has long been popular among gay men and has made its mark among straight guys trying to emulate the models and actors they see splashed on magazine covers or on screen, almost all who are sans body hair.

Gillette has come out with a series of online animated videos that tries to convince guys to use its products when they are manscaping. They even have one that discusses how best to shave your genital area, using all sorts of cute code words (“trimming the bush to make the tree look taller”).

In the videos I watched of the series, “she” or “her” was used often enough to assure straight guys that it is totally 100% hetero to body shave; typical — we can’t have anyone think our product is gay.

My question to readers:

–Do you body shave, and if so, what parts?
–Do prefer another guy’s chest to be hairy or smooth?

I have shaved my chest if the mood strikes, but did my legs once and that was enough — at 6-5, with a 38-inch inseam it took forever and my legs were very itchy once the hair grew back.

I have a smooth body with hairs only under the armpits, in the pubic area and in the bum. I did shave the pubic area once and it itches horribly when the hairs start to grow. Since then I keep the bush trimmed. It is sexy and, not in the way and my partner just loves it!

I trim my pubes, armpits and legs, and I SHAVE my chest and butt, and testicles, but I never use a razor. I prefer the Norleco Body Groom for shaving. I hate the look of shaved pubes. IMO it looks way too boyish, and not at all manly.

Unless you’re a competitive swimmer, bodybuilder, etc., there should be a law against shaving your body hair. A SLIGHT trim is ok, just to keep everything from being too wild & woolly.

I second that Joe. Guys who shave all over that don’t have a reason to must have some sort of complex…

I don’t have much body hair to begin with so I prefer to keep what I do have. Then again I also like not having to shave my face daily so some trade offs are worth it.

yes, the whole body shave is a little creepy if you are not an athlete, but a law against it joe lol that’s a bit too much, though i may support a law forcing the shaving of balls, cuz that makes them soooo much more fun…..

Naired my chest and arms once. Left it on too long and it torched my nipples. Never again. Just trim it down. Trim the pubes. Dont have alot of ass hair, so thats not a big deal for me.

I shave from the neck up except for a big red moustache and knock back the pubes now and then. I can’t bring myself to shave my sack. A blade doesnt belong down there. Too scarey.
Happily I am only moderately fuzzed and like guys naturally fuzzy or naturally smooth. Body sweaters don’t do it for me. I appreciate a guy at the beach who deals w/his back hair. Nice pecs on a body builder are fine shaved but a well built chest w/some fuzz is perfect

I don’t have much body hair per se because of genetics and my background (no, not Asian, west European).

As is my better half, the only thing we do is trim down there. I don’t think it would be sightly to see his hair pop out of his speedo, eww.

First off, you need a ripped body figure to pull it off.
Second, bald pubes make it feel softer & more fun
for women! For your benefits you feel a girls ass &
    pussy much much better!
