The talked-about 2009 Gay March on Washington is a go, and will be held on the same weekend in D.C. as the annual Gay Superbowl. Cleve Jones has said that the organizers have permits to march and the event will take place in the nation’s capital October 10-11. Some people are celebrating the march, and some are decrying it. Jim and I will be playing football both days, so I won’t be marching either way. If you’re in DC for the march, come on out one of the days to the football tournament and say hi!

There’s a softball tournament that is set to be held the same weekend in DC. My team might play in it. If so, I won’t be marching. If not, I might be down there to watch my flag football-playing friends, so I won’t be marching. If I’m not at either tournament…well, I won’t be there, so I won’t be marching.
Something tells me that hotel accomodations might be a problem that weekend.
