Sammy Sosa, who just a couple weeks ago reiterated that he has never taken performance-enhancing drugs, reportedly tested positive for them in 2003. If true, Sosa, who once cheated with an illegal bat, should shut his trap and never speak again.
- Has any coach’s first five months ever gone worse? Broncos WR Brandon Marshall demands trade, posts good-bye to Denver fans on his Web site. Ravens and Browns are in the mix. Why not Marshall for Braylon Edwards?
- Former Yankee, Cub and Indian Mel Hall was convicted of sexually assaulting a 12-year-old girl 10 years ago.
- LeBron James visited Barack Obama at the White House. Wait, aren’t you supposed to wait until you win the title to do that? I guess, sans team, he did win the MVP award.
