In the early days of Outsports we had a clunky discussion board where every reply started a new thread. At the time, baseball player Gabe Kapler had done several photo spreads displaying his muscular body, and posters would flood the board with numerous Kapler threads; so many, that even mentioning Kapler became a no-no, and he became known as He Who Must Not Be Named. Just goes to show you what Gabe looked like when he was on roids (then) and how plain he looks in this photo (now). Still, I gotta give it to him……he can hit the ball. Guess taking steroids was really a waste……sad, very sad!!!!
