Sorry, but any of the comments stating that the “silver is awsome” are not true fans of the Oregon Ducks. Please spare me. The school colors are GREEN AND YELLOW (and white)..how hard is this to understand. And don’t give me the excuse that it is great for recruiting..I think Ohio State and USC are doing just fine in that department in keeping with tradition. If I watch a home game at Oregon this year, I won’t know who is the away team..They are rediculous. The “turkey wings” are stupid and one combination looks like the Oakland Raiders or Burt Reynolds’ old USFL team the Tampa Bay Bandits. I never thought I would ever say this, but Oregon State has better uniforms than Oregon. Silver!! F’n SILVER..oh sorry, “CARBON”.DUHHHHH.

Uniforms/fashion are OU’s thing and its good for marketing. I know very little about OU except they are a fast-paced team and they experiement with Nike, an Oregon company, with uniforms. For that to stick out in the mind of an ACC fan, I think, is a good thing. When I think of Pac10 football I think of USC and Oregon.

Since I’m not a UO alum, I don’t really care. But why are there black and grey/silver jerseys/pants? I thought UO’s colors were green & yellow. It’s like if our national teams started wearing colors other than red, white, & blue. It makes no sense.

I think they’re pretty cool as well. It’s OK for a couple teams to experiment and the unique unis are good marketing for Oregon.

i think tht there pretty cool actaully the silver helmets are awesome.but in the end i just hope we win and crush the broncos.
