If I may be so blunt dan…if you believe homosexuality is disgusting…why are you on a website dedicated to discussion of sports in such a disgusting way? In the closet much my darling? i am ugandan, and damn right i believe homosexuality is a perversion. fufa has been famous for a lot of inadequacies in the past, i glad they are doing something about this. sportsmen are in many cases role-models for the rural youth and we have enough problems as a country without having our youth corrupted by faggotry.

I have been to Uganda so this makes me kind of sad but not surprised. The country is over 80% Christian and what I have learned is they believe homosexuality is disgusting and so rampant over in the states. I think it is clearly due to the fact that people would be more comfortable coming “out” here than there. I love Uganda and its people regardless, though.

The suspended coach Charles ‘Ayiekoh’ Lukura has given an interview to Ugandan newspaper The Observer explaining his view on the events leading to his suspension.

When asked “Have you ever heard of homosexuality in Ugandan football?” he replies “Yes I’ve heard about it, but it is all rumours.” When the paper went on and asked “Do you believe it is real?” he says “I don’t know!”

Given the circumstances, his answer to the question “What is your view on homosexuality as a whole?” was undestandably “Of-course it is not a good practice.”
