Stephon Marbury starring in ‘gay porn’

Since rejecting an offer to stay with the Boston Celtics for the 2009-10 season, Stephon Marbury has been broadcasting his descent into insanity for all to see, thanks to YouTube and UStream and USoCrazy…. Wizards center Brendan Haywood wondered aloud what I’m sure plenty of other players and fans have been thinking…

At first it was cool, but after a while it just became disturbing. He’s on YouTube crying with no shirt on for no reason, sweating while his boy’s rubbing his shoulders. What’s that about? That’s like gay porn. I don’t understand it. He’s dancing to a song called ‘Barbie Doll’, doing like stripper moves. …

Marbury’s “incriminating” video, after the jump…

I don’t know if Haywood has actually seen gay porn, or maybe he only sticks around for the first two minutes, but none of the videos Marbury has posted is quite “gay porn.”

Then Haywood offers this little gem:

There’s no way any other professional athletes would wanna get dressed around this guy, because you gotta think something is a little, he’s swinging from both sides of the fence.

Interesting that Haywood says no other pro athletes would want to get dressed around him, which translated means “Haywood would not want to get dressed around a gay teammate.”

Gay porn? You be the judge…

For an athlete who has been called team poison, or a cancer on his teammates, the tag of gay may be just another step in feeling unwanted and disrespected. But fans do love their dog killers.

He’s not gay. Brendan Haywood is a mediocre at best backup center for a perennial lottery team, who really cares what he has to say? Sounds to me like gay bashing here, even though Marbury is far from gay. Also, he’s stated numerous times HE IS DONE WITH THE NBA, so why would he care what NBA GM’s gotta say?

Also, I think you should change the title of this article. His broadcasts are far from “gay” or “porn”.

Stephon Marbury’s behavior suggests a clinical psychological problem – played out in the hi-tech fashion so comfortable to today’s young people – and as such is pitiable on both counts.

But Brendan Haywood’s homophobia is chosen – and easily changed – if he chooses.

WTF was that? Forget the moron’s comments, what was the point of that weird video? Someone has way too much time on his hands, for one. Probably some issues, for another.

I think he needs to see a psychologist.

Can we not reveal in the medical conditions of others?????? I didn’t watch the video because I could hear from the news that it was a bad scene. Haywood…whatever, I guess he thinks he’ll get mind raped since gay is too steps from crazy. Anyway, in another century SM would be considered a prophet. Let the dude live.

Just go to Justin.tv/starburytv and watch for yourself. Alot of people thought Stephon was crazy or having a “meltdown” till they watched him on video and their opinions have changed. Try looking at the WHOLE picture isntead of what only what the media puts out there. They never tell the whole story and you’d all be foolish to believe that they do.

I totally understand. I’m white, and I feel the same way about black people. I don’t support them or condemn them. I really don’t care what they do or what happens to them, as long it doesn’t affect me. Very courageous, Mr. Haywood. You’re quite the role model and star citizen.

No. Not gay porn. However, someone who loves him should try to get him psychological care immediately. If this is a hint of something gay-like, then it probably represents the psychological breakdown of a gay male athletic superstar faced with the incorrigible homophobia of the sports world. It’s sad to watch. Whoever that is putting his hands on him and rubbing his shoulder, if you are anything more than a basketball groupie, talk straight to him now. Make this man see that he needs serious help — help that you can’t give him. Without that help this is only going to get uglier. If you have any love for that man (and I don’t necessarily mean gay love), do something for him now.

    Kelly,

Your argument doesn’t really make a strong point because a lot of white people feel the same way you do – it’s the American way. In fact a lot of black people feel the way you do about white people. And many blacks and whites feel the same way about Mexicans. Playing a race card in a racist society to try and make a point about gay rights is lame. People of all colors will say that skin is what you are in and sex is what you do. As gays we need to stand on our own two feet and demand justice because it’s what we deserve it, not because women have it or racial minorities have it.

Gay? WTF… Whoever thinks this is gay is obviously homophobic and latently gay…Marbury is obviously having a cathartic moment and he has a friend there hanging to help him..We have no idea what he is looking at on that computer screen.. Maybe its photos of someone he lost, a loved one….What the hell is wrong with you people?

Since when is crying an insane act? Inability to express emotion is the disability.
