Wizards center Brendan Haywood caught some heat after he made some not-so-great comments about Stephon Marbury acting gay. Haywood said he and the Wizards got some negative reaction to his comments and he posted an explanation:
I was just trying to have fun with a crazy situation. I don’t support or condemn homosexuality and I believe in everyone making choices for themselves. If it doesn’t affect me, I don’t really care. I hope no one was offended because I wasn’t trying to come off like Tim Hardaway.
If that’s the case, then why did he say, “There’s no way any other professional athletes would wanna get dressed around this [gay] guy”?
Hat tip to Yardbarker.

Yep. it’s a “choice.”
Just another stupid, clueless, ignorant jock whose views get aired because he can play a sport well and nothing else.

Why is it that people feel the need to insult people who dont agree with their particular viewpoint?
