		<description>While there should be a rule prohibiting the use of twitter and other various social media outlets during games - I think that these leagues need to take a step back and realize just how valuable this form of communication can be. 

It&#039;s providing fans with a different viewpoint of their favorite athletes. A chance to get as close as possible to these players without actually knowing them. A way to read their thoughts and see a side to them that you wouldn&#039;t normally see through traditional media outlets. 

It&#039;s also another strong marketing tool. There&#039;s certainly a fine line to be drawn but I just hope that leagues and sports teams don&#039;t fear this new form of communication. Be open to it - embrace it.</description>
