Lance Bass, “Beefy, badass boxer?”

Out former pop star Lance Bass is the subject of a new photo spread by Branden Summers. The shoot took place in a boxing ring at Trinity Boxing Club in New York City. Apparently, it’s meant to make Bass’ image a little tougher, more “badass.”

Does the former N’Sync star look at home in a boxing ring? Do you now suddenly think “tough, bruiser athlete” when you see Lance Bass? If you saw Albert Haynesworth on a diving platform, would you suddenly think, “slender?”

Coincidentally, I saw Bass at a taping of Dancing With the Stars a couple weeks ago. What was odd was watching the entire audience applauding…while only Bass and his friends sat on their hands. I mean, the audience was giving a standing ovation to the contestants, but Bass was too cool for school. When Paula Abdul showed up and sat next to him, he started politely applauding at times, but I wondered why he was there at all if he was just gonna sit there like a bump on a log. When he left 15 minutes before the show ended, shortly after he and Abdul were interviewed live, it answered my question. Abdul, the way, stayed for an hour after the show chatting with fans and signing autographs.

Um I was at that taping of dwts- and Lance Bass clapped for every contestant and gave chuck a standing o- you must be blind my man!
And why would he do the press line at the end of dwts? Is he on the show anymore? If he did do it, I’m sure you would still be a playa hater and say he is a publicity whore. Lol
    Oh jealousy!
I’m not gay, but yes Lance looks like a bad ass here! Go Lance!

Um, Joel, he didn’t clap until Paula got there. At least, not the three or four times I looked over specifically to see if he was clapping (I started looking back after I noticed the first time that he wasn’t clapping). Once Paula got there, he was more into it…I figured because she was.

Of course he wouldn’t do the press line. But he left BEFORE THE SHOW WAS OVER, before the last contestant performed! I’m sure he had somewhere more important to be, but if you’re gonna be there and sit in the front row, at least stay through the end of the taping.

I have no hate for Lance Bass. I couldn’t care less about him. But, he doesn’t look like a boxer and he was a bump-on-a-log at that taping until Paula (late as usual) got there.

I saw him on Andy Cohen’s “Watch What Happens Live” and he was a douche. He kept spinning around in his chair like a child, barely answered any questions, and just acted weird.
