How embarassing is it to be the owner and GM of the Cleveland Indians. Your two former Cy Young winners starting the World Series- for two different teams. And you just hired a Manager that was 158 wins 252 losses in his last job. What did Cleveland see in this guy?
Manny Acta was manager of a team (Washington) with serious problems up and down its organization. His first year as manager was 2007; they played .500 ball after a 9-25 start and ended up helping the Mets collapse. I don’t see why he shouldn’t have gotten another chance somewhere else.

Jim, when I do my preview I’ll explain why you’re wrong.

JIP, given my track record, you should be delighted with my pick.

if the Phils knock around CC like they did in last year’s NLDS they win this thing in 5, they won’t though and Yanks will win in 7!
