[...] The Washington Post’s NFL blog, The League, has a panel discussion up as to whether ex-KansasCityChiefsrunning back LarryJohnson (he of the “faggot” slurs) can hook up with another team. I was invited to share my views and we all pretty much agree …Read Original Story: Can Larry Johnson come back? – Outsports.com [...]

Jim, your WaPo piece was too short, but I'm impressed that you were able to call out the NFL and LJ in the amount of space that you had. Sadly, I agree with you. Some team will pick up LJ because there are a few teams that are in such bad shape, any "new" blood will be welcome. If he starts to produce again, the interest will pick up among the less desperate teams, too. Productivity impresses more than off-field antics.

ossurworld, I agree with you in general, but then there's the Raiders. We know they are run by idiots, so maybe LJ can find a home there?

In a word, no. Players can do many bonehead things in the NFL, but attacking the front office or coaches is not among them. What team wants to risk this imbecile becoming a public embarrassment after they give him a chance? If you want to know which NFL team is run by idiots, watch to see which team will sign him.
