Denver Broncos coach Josh McDaniels was not happy that his offense committed three false start penalties on one series in their 26-6 win Thanksgiving night against the New York Giants. So he let them have it and the NFL Network ran it for some reason, since it appeared to be a segment recorded during a commercial break (details at Pro Football Talk). Someone call the FCC!

No one else has commented after 24 hours? I’m sure I’ll get flamed for this, but I think this video is hot. I’m sure that other coaches use language like this often, and McDaniels just got caught on the air. I’d blame the network before blaming him.
And I thank Jim for making his post about an incident during an actual game. (I mean, “Lisa Simpson giving head”? Give me a m-f’ing break.)

I am sure McDaniels is not the first coach to berate his team in that way, and it sure worked, as they played much better afterwards. But I have to say it was more than awkward watching the game with my nephews - age 10 and 12 - when that got on the air. It was a lot more than the motherf*cker comment, although that was the clearest thing he said. We had a long discussion about appropriate language and who would get into trouble for the gaffe - I said I thought someone in the broadcast center was probably hearing words a lot harsher after it aired

What a bizarre, fucked-up country this is sometimes.
Here we have a society that spends hundreds of millions of dollars on brutal, dehumanizing movies like the “Saw” franchise and all its clones; murder porn is the basis of the popular “CSI” series and most crime procedurals; we have no problem invading other countries that aren’t a threat and leaving a trail of death in our wake and nothing but crickets but OMG! OMG! someone says “Fuck” and “motherfucker” on a live mike or shows 2 seconds of a nipple or Adam Lambert kisses a guy and gets a fake blow job at some stupid, lame awards show and people reach for the fainting salts, thousands of people write letters of protest and the networks act like it’s a huge scandal.

That’s what has me rolling my eyes about this story, seeing the comments on some other places where there’s actually people stupid enough to be shocked that somone in pro sports would swear and OMG WHATEVER WILL LITTLE PRECIOUS SNOWFLAKES BRITTANY AND JARED AND CODY DO WHEN THEY HEAR IT??!11!!!
