Update: Outsports has received a cease & desist letter regarding the photos.
If you’re reading this and have any photos of me that make me look remotely like Grady Sizemore, consider this a personal invitation to share them with everyone in the world. The photos flying around the internet of the Cleveland Indians star are gorgeous. Yet Sizemore is apparently not happy about it.
“We fully support Grady as he deals with this personal matter,” the Indians said in a statement. Personal matter? Like what, doubling the size of your fanbase? Having every straight guy wishing they were you? And having every gay guy out buying a Sizemore jersey? Oh, the travesty.

For the life of me I’ll never understand why celebrities will take pictures like this of themselves, and then get annoyed when they go public. Think before you click!!!
I’m not complaining though, I enjoyed the pictures

I have always loved Grady. He is an absolute hottie. I do believe he is married.
Anyone know where the pictures may be? I missed them

This is a simple matter of privacy and copyright laws. The photos were meant for his personal use. As the owner of the photos, he has the right to decide who gets to publish them.
To say that Sizemore’s actions are part of a witch hunt is self-involved and shows an utter lack of understanding for the term.
Moreover, other celebrities have demanded that personal pictures be withdrawn from web sites. How is Sizemore’s request any different than those?
Get over yourself. He made a stupid, naive mistake and wants to correct. BFD. All this talk about increased fan base and such is just a way for you to make yourself feel better because you are profiting off Sizemore’s discomfort.

Poor Grady. The little ballplayer’s homophobia falls somewhere to the right of Larry Johnson.
on Dec 2nd, 2009 at 11:42 AM
Ossurworld,
Get real. How exactly is Sizemore homophobic when he requests all sites, straight, gay, etc. to remove his pictures?
It’s pathetic to make this into homophobia. This is about Sizemore’s confidence being betrayed by his ex who released personal pictures. Sizemore is simply demanding that his privacy be respected.
Sizemore did not consent for his photos to be released to the public.
When Outsports whines about being the victim of a witch hunt, I lose respect for them. There is no witch hunt. No one is seeing his life threatened or career ruined.
When someone labels a post with the words “gorgeous photos” and whines about not being able to post said photos, journalistic credibility has left the building. Outsports is no victim. Get over it.

You’re really boring Cynic.

Jim Allen,
No. I just have different ethics than you do. I don’t find taking advantage of someone as fun.
Real fans don’t condemn someone for wanting to maintain his privacy, especially over photos that he never intended to be made public.

I agree Cynic. Hilarious to call it a “witch hunt.” Anybody who thinks his by him calling out outsports makes him homophobic think way to highly of their sexuality.
I however recall a comment once made by Sizemore in the CPD probably about 3 or 4 years ago, in an article about the japanese pitcher who had done gay porn in college. They (sizemore and the pitcher whose name i can’t remember) roomed together and sizemore was quoted as being completely comfortable and supportive of him. Don’t get fussy about not providing a link, just google it.

You don’t know jack about my ethics. I just think you’re a pedantic bore. We. got. it. the first 5 times you made you point.

This article totally demolishes Grady Sizemore’s legal claims:
http://bases.nbcsports.com/2009/12/grady-sizemore-sicks-his-lawyers-on-a-blogger.html.php
Sample:
Stolen from “a” personal computer. Not “Mr. Sizemore’s” personal computer. A small distinction, but one that had to be made because every single article on the topic has reported that the pics were stolen from the computer of one Brittany Binger — Grady Sizemore’s girlfriend — after Sizemore sent them to her.
Which means that the photos aren’t Mr. Sizemore’s property. Unless Grady gave them to Binger on a lease with an option to buy. If a letter should be coming from anyone it should be coming from Binger’s lawyer. Maybe Sizemore has a copyright complaint as the photographer, but I don’t think that’s what is really animating this letter, do you?

Dear Cynic, named after the Dog Star, no doubt. Devoted, stubborn, and totally devoid of satiric wit. Buy a sense of humor.
on Dec 3rd, 2009 at 9:51 PM
The article cited by Mr. Buzinski is illuminating. If a crime has been committed, why has Grady Sizeless not contacted the police? I hear nothing of a crime here, only of the bruised ego of a millionaire playboy.

Totally nothing to do with the content of this story but I had no idea that Grady was bi-racial (mother-white; father-black). Oh Grady…guess you weren’t blessed with a certain aspect of your father’s genes.

Terp, you couldn’t tell from the hair? And you call yourself a man of color???!! LOL
Also the lips. Def the DSL.

Jay I thought he was maybe Italian or Greek. He certainly could pass, but yes definitely the DSL’s. Had I seen the below childhood picture before today I would’ve known right away.
