Since Artie Lange took a leave of absence from The Howard Stern Show, Howard has been better than ever. And the latest is a doozy. He’s been talking about this for weeks, and finally the Tiger Woods Mistress Beauty Pageant is just around the corner; Already many in the media are launching their predictable “holier-than-thou” attacks on him. They reportedly have four of Woods’ mistresses participating and the prize is $100k, donated by the straight “cheating” Web site AshleyMadison.com (the people who brought us Mancrunch.com, of Super Bowl infamy), who claim to have 5.5 million members.
Reports are claiming that Stern invited Tiger Woods’ wife, Elin Nordegren, to be a judge; But if the idiot reporting that did his homework, he’d realize that never happened (Howard just mentioned it on-air once as a possible goof). Oh, and Baba Booey.

I never liked Artie Lane. Jackie Martling wasn’t better, but I don’t like Artie.

I like a lot of what Artie does, but I think Howard, Robin and Fred have all really stepped up with Artie’s departure, and the show has gotten better since he left.

I’m with you Cyd. I liked Artie at first but then the show became all about Artie being “sick” and then coming back and explaining his problems. I feel bad for Artie but I think the show has a much smoother flow and better energy with just Howard, Robin and Fred. The only downside to Artie being gone is too much Benjy.
I think the beauty pageant is gonna be brilliant. I can’t believe they could only get 4 contestants though…

Artie Lange is sooo not gay…. He jokes about stuff and all, but you can tell by his dialogue over the years he just doesn’t get gay sex. When George Takei is on the show, that is the closest he has come close to being OK with gay sex. Artie is OK on the show, but not great. And the show seems the same, just more talk with Robin and Fred….
I will be watching this contest…..

The Howard Stern show hasn’t been funny since 1997. The show was dead before Artie ever got there. Who the hell listens to Howard Stern these days? Talk about nostalgia. The biggest homophobes I’ve ever known were huge Stern fans. Typical frat boys. I am glad he has become old and irrelevant these days. I remember when folks use to make a big deal out of him. Again, back in the early to mid-90s.
