Yahoo’s Michael Silver catches up with Minnesota Vikings tight end Visanthe Shiancoe, who has had more touchdown catches the past two seasons than all but two players. But what Shiancoe acknowledges he is most known for is a fleeting shot of his penis following a 2008 game. Fox was broadcasting the post-game locker room scene and Shiancoe just happened to be naked in the background.
He found out about his impending fame when fellow tight end Jeff Dugan(notes) showed him a screen shot of the FOX broadcast on his cell phone as the two were walking to the team bus. “Then things got crazy,” Shiancoe recalls. “Chicks were calling – you name it, I’ve heard it – and before I knew it, it was on ‘The View.’

[search], and they’ll come back like, ‘Oooh, I’ve seen this, I’ve seen that.’ Or I can tell they looked it up, but they won’t say anything till much later. All I can do is shake my head and [be thankful] I didn’t just come out of the cold tub. Because it’ll live forever. I already know that.”
Fortunately for Shiancoe, he has nothing to be embarrassed about and the story notes that he “treats his body like a temple.” But he did turn down some porn offers, a smart move.
