Andrew McIntosh, the openly gay lacrosse captain at Oneonta University, will be the featured guest at a joint event of two Fresno-based gay groups: Community Link and Bulldog Pride. The event is free and takes place at the First Congregational Church (2131 N. Van Ness).
Kudos to McIntosh for going into the belly of the beast to preach his message of openness and inclusion: Fresno County voted for Prop 8 by more than a two-to-one margin (69-31) in 2008.
