Wisconsin-Green Bay coach Matt Bollant said Allums’ announcement was a non-issue.

“We didn’t say anything about it all week. We chose to focus on George Washington both as a team and individually,” he said. “We came here to win basketball games and we need to make sure we stay focused if we want to do that.”

The GWU team went 6-22 last season.
