DeSean Jackson supports bullying victim

Philadelphia Eagles players DeSean Jackson, Todd Herremans and Jamaal Jackson made a surprise visit on “The View” today to show their support for Nadin Khoury, a 13-year-old student set upon last month by seven teenagers who beat him and hung him from a tree while one of them videotaped it.

Khoury said he was beaten because he is small and his mother is originally from Africa. I have seen no mention that sexual orientation was an issue here, but bullying is horrific regardless of who it is directed at. Jackson and his teammates made a surprise visit while Khoury and his mom were on “The View,” with Jackson literally giving the youngster the jersey off his back. It’s quite touching. Video:

As a Giants fan I have never appreciated DeSean’s antics on the field. That said I have a new & only favorite Philadelphia Eagle!
Kudos to you Mr.Jackson. Well done.

Okay, I’m starting to tear up a bit here. What a sweet kid. Unfortunately they are the ones who attract bullies.

That was awesome to see. Thank you for sharing this, and showing how these players are making a difference in someone’s life.
I think scenes similar to this are played our quite frequently, but unfortunately the media chooses to ignore them and focus on the negative.

Normally cannot stand the View and was flipping channels towards the end of this episode. Wondered what it was… SOOOOOO Glad this was posted and just how cool this all happened for this survivor. Cannot imagine the hell he went through and hopefully he can keep his head held high…

As a fellow Giants fan, I agree with Tim on this one. Until the next season begins.

That’s one less reason for me to dislike the Eagles. Good on Jackson for what he did. I’d bet the bullies don’t get visits from famous football players.

What I especially found touching and heartening was the fact that DeSean asked to sit next to Nadin so he could put his arm around his shoulders and comfort him. I am a Titans fan and don’t know too much about the Eagles or Mr. Jackson but that act alone has made me a huge fan of what he does off the field.
The message they sent but again DeSean’s kind act speaks volumes to the bullies but also lets Nadin know that it is okay to feel what he was feeling in that moment.

Well done DeSean Jackson and teammates! You have a new fan in this Giants fan.

Great to see Nadin getting that kind of support and love after suffering at the hands of such cowardly bullies.
