UCBcomedy.com sent us this Focus on the Family ad for Doritios featuring Tim Tebow that was rejected. I thought it was well done:

The excuses are running out for CBS regarding their decision to air an advocacy ad against abortion, created by the hate group Focus on the Family and starring Tim Tebow, during the Super Bowl. The latest is news they rejected a gay-themed ad from GoDaddy.com that showed a former pro football player who had become [...]
I like to look at our stats to see what search terms people type in to wind up on a particular story. It’s most fun on weekends when big sporting events are being televised. With the AFC and NFC championships on TV, along with U.S. figure skating, it was no surprise to see that people [...]
Keifer Sutherland appeared on the Late Show with David Letterman last night in a dress (and an ugly one at that; looked more like window curtains). When Letterman asked him “wassup with the dress?” Sutherland admitted he put a little too much faith in Tom Brady:
I lost a bet. Over the weekend, I was so [...]
Indianapolis Colts quarterback Peyton Manning won a record fourth NFL MVP award in a landslide. When the news was posted on Pro Football Talk, there were the predictable comments praising Manning or decrying the choice.
But one comment had me both laughing and saying WTF for its sheer idiocy — Manning was chosen because he’s gay:

For those of us who are fans of sports and Howard Stern, the addition of Artie Lange to the show several years ago brought the perfect sports-fan voice to the show. He was loud, he was opinionated, he loved his team and he hated yours. Artie jumped onto the national sports stage in a big [...]
We’ve said over and over that our position on Johnny Weir is that he’s an openly gay man. And in conversations with Johnny, he hasn’t said we’re wrong. Thanks to an ESPN The Magazine article on Johnny Weir, Deadspin starts a new series in which they document “the sports media’s pained efforts to call the [...]
Just when you think you’ve seen everything in football, a video like this comes out that makes you truly at a loss for an answer. I just hope Zebrie Sanders does the same thing when Florida State is playing Stanford in the Emerald Bowl in a couple weeks.

The transgressions of Tiger Woods have claimed another victim. John Ziegler (I spell it “ei”) has decided he must close the church he started in 1996: The First Church of Tiger Woods. The church’s site includes 27 pieces of evidence of Tiger’s divinity. What is the purpose of the church, you may ask?
This website is [...]
With all the talk in Canada about Brendan Burke’s coming out, some old video has been dug up marrying hockey and the gays (well, not literally). This one, with hockey player, coach and broadcaster Don Cherry, caught my eye. Cherry’s always been “out there,” so it’s no big surprise he’d play along with out comedian [...]
Doh! Someone took the 2012 Olympics logo, added a splash of color, and voila! You clearly see Lisa Simpson giving someone a blowjob. The logo (after the jump), like most Olympics logos, was crappy to start with. But now that people think it’s kiddie incest, and with the new logo’s Facebook page registering over 150,000 [...]
Are you as tired of Brett Favre’s Wrangler commercials as I am? Well Funny Or Die brings the perfect cure for Favre-Wrangler blues (produced by The Midnight Show, a sketch comedy show in L.A.). Oh. My. God. You’ll never watch those commercials the same way again.

The NBC sit-com Community had a fun throw-away line last night that caught our attention. The show is about the faculty, staff and students of Greendale Community College. Dean Pelton, who’s proud of helping change the school’s mascot from the “Grizzlies” to the “Human Beings” had this observation about the athletic department:
The best compliment our [...]
Soon to be one of the classic sports rants of all time. My favorite: “Do you believe in miracles?”
Enjoy…
Hat tip to Kelvin.

Deadspin has a gallery up of Halloween costumes sent in by readers. One caught my eye and is very specific as to what part of Tim Tebow this guy hearts (sort of not safe for work):
