At a skating exhibition in South Korea, U.S. skater Johnny Weir skates to Lady Gaga’s “Poker Face.” Weir is never dull and is a terrific athlete (and the crowd loved every second of it). This is the gayest thing I’ve seen in sports since Terrell Owens shook his pom-poms.

Johnny Weir, my favorite ice skater as much for his who-gives-a-damn personality as his skating talent, will not be going to the world figure skating championships after finishing fifth at this weekend’s nationals. Weir has been at worlds every year since 2003.

Pro athletes go to extremes to avoid anything gay. Well, except for Vince Young, the Tennessee Titans QB who likes to dance shirtless with other guys while clubbing.
But now it seems he can brush off his man-on-man indiscretions by uttering this simple phrase: no homo. It’s all the rage in the NFL, according to Deadspin.

American skater Johnny Weir won his first world figure skating medal by finishing third at the championships in Sweden. Canada’s Jeffrey Buttle took the gold and France’s Brian Joubert the silver.

Johnny Weir and Evan Lysacek had a finish at the United State Figure Skating Championships in St. Paul, Minn., that was unbelievably close.
