She’s also reached some comfort in sharing her bisexual orientation, which she kept hidden in high school to avoid being singled out. Jessica came out to her ATT teammates with little fanfare (“When they found out, they treated me just the same,” she said) and for the last year, has lived with her girlfriend, who wholeheartedly supports her fight career.

“I don’t put it in any titles,” said Aguilar, “but I’d say when I’ve found the right person — whether it’s a man or a woman — I’d be happy.”

Like fighting, Jessica’s bisexuality is something her mother doesn’t quite grasp. Mother and daughter haven’t talked about it since Jessica first told her a few years ago.”

She asked me where I learned it or saw it,” Jessica said. “I told her you didn’t see or learn it; you felt it. She told me it would pass.”

Aguilar is 14-4 and hasn’t lost in over 18 months. With her win last weekend, she became the Bellator Fighter No. 1 Strawweight in the world. Congratulations to her all the way around!

“We’ve communicated to the UFC our displeasure with certain remarks made by some of its fighters, and they have promised to address this. If the incidents continue, we will act,” the brewer said in a statement. A-B, which did not elaborate on potential actions, also stated that it “embraces diversity and does not condone insensitive and derogatory comments rooted in ethnicity, race, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, etc.”

UFC told Ad Age they oppose inappropriate comments and that the actions of their fighters don’t reflect the values of the company. But aren’t the fighters a huge part of the company?

Von Rothfelder moved to California in 2009 to pursue his professional career further. He trained with the Body Shop and Antonio McKee in Long Beach, CA, as well as, with the NFL Combine Training Team. During this time, he was also a trainer at one of Los Angeles’s premier celebrity gyms working with high-profile clients. Unfortunately, due to injuries, Rothfelder had to leave his professional fighting career behind.

Dakota Cochrane, who has talked openly about his gay porn past, will debut Friday on the opening episode of the reality series “The Ultimate Fighter 15.” The show airs on Fx at 9 p.m. Eastern (6 p.m. Pacific). Cochrane said he earned $80,000 as “Danny” on the Sean Cody website. UFC head Dana White fully backs the fighter.

Of course I knew [about his porn past]. Listen, the kid’s a fighter. He did what he did. He didn’t break any laws, he didn’t do anything illegal. When we do background checks on guys, we look for stuff that’s illegal, we look for criminal stuff, we look for stuff we just don’t like. You can have your own opinion of him…but the kid’s a fighter, he’s got a good record, and he’s earned his way into The Ultimate Fighter.”

Cochrane, who is married with a child and says he is not gay, is a good fighter, compiling a 10-2 record. He will be one of 32 contestants on the show, with one eventually being crowned the “ultimate fighter.” Each “team” has a coach, one being mixed martial arts champ Urijah Faber (himself hot enough to do porn), who said he would have no problem coaching Cochrane:

“I’m interested to see where his head’s at with the whole thing,” said Faber. “That will be a big deciding factor on how everyone else deals with it. It’s going to come up, there’s no doubt about that. It’s not a subject that just gets looked over.”

“If these guys want to make fun of him or pick on him or whatever, they may be getting beat up by him, so I wouldn’t make him look too bad cause if you’re going to break a guy down and he beats you up then that kind of makes you look bad.”

Of course, it will be brought up. It’s what is going to have a fair number of people tuning in to see. The longer Cochrane stays on the show, the better the ratings.

“I think it’s a little bit courageous for both of us,” he said of the UFC’s decision to include him on the show. “I could just hide in a hole and no one would know except for the people close to me. And to them, I was up front. I let them know right away so it wasn’t anything that could come back and bite them in the butt. I think maybe they respected that a little bit. I think some people judge against it, some people will be OK with it. Some people will want me to get my butt kicked, and hopefully others will respect what I’m trying to do.”

His manager also told the Web site that Cochrane has had fighters pull out of bouts against him because they discovered his past, and that promoters also pulled offers from him.

I have a lot of respect for the guy being so open and honest about it. He could have played the typical jock and distanced himself as far as possible from it, bashing gays along the way. But he didn’t. The whole article on MMAFighting.com is worth the read.

UFC is hardly the most gay-friendly place to be, but Dana White has said he wants gay fighters to come out. Still, we don’t know what Cochrane’s sexual orientation is. While straight MMA sites might be saying Cochrane’s been “outed,” there are plenty of straight guys who are “gay for pay” (and Sean Cody claims that most of their porn actors are straight).

By the way, we’re always wary of pinning someone down on this, but there’s no question it’s him. He has a distinct tattoo on his left shoulder that matches images from porn stills of “Danny” and MMA shots of Cochrane.

Complicating this whole story is the nature of The Ultimate Fighter 15 show. The format is Big Brother-type, with everyone living in a house together. We’ve found blogs and discussion boards dating back to last September that talk about Cochrane’s gay-porn past. It’s hard to believe the TUF show didn’t know about it when they cast the show; It’s entirely possible they cast him because of his porn days. Now he’ll be living in a house with 31 other guys and shooting live TV!

If Cochrane is gay, hopefully he’ll use this opportunity to come out publicly. While it may be embarrassing, there’s nothing wrong with starring in porn. And after perusing the porn site, there’s no getting around it: He was STARRING in GAY PORN.

In school systems, we install the MLMP club program first into a high school. From there, the high school kids adopt a Jr. high and elementary school. This involves the high school students going into each school one time each month to teach them a different lesson. There are 8 lessons totaling one per month for the academic school year. This can be at lunchtime or after school for 30-60 minutes depending on what works best for the individual school’s MLMP Club.

Dana White

Dana White, president of the Ultimate Fighting Championship, both apologized (again) for his past homophobic comments while encouraging gay fighters to come out.

“I’ll tell you right now, if there was a gay fighter in UFC, I wish he would come out,” he said. “I could care less if there’s a gay fighter in the UFC. There probably is and there’s probably more than one.”

White is under fire from the Culinary Workers Union Local 226 in Las Vegas, which wants sponsors — including Fox TV — to stop supporting the UFC. The union on its website Unfit For Children listed several instance of homophobic or sexist remarks by White or those affiliated with the UFC.

“If you guys look at all the stuff that I’ve said over the last 10 years — some of it stupid, some of it whatever — that’s the one that bothers me,” White said. “That’s the only one that bothers me — the fact that these losers from the Culinary Union can go out and say that I’m a homophobe and things like that — because it’s the furthest thing from the truth.” …

“You’re dealing with human beings. Everybody makes mistakes and everybody does things that are wrong sometimes. … We do the best we can do. How do you really think that we could possibly police 375 fighters and try to control everything they say?”

White is a guy all over the map on gay issues. He has used homophobic language, then issued what Cyd called a “hollow apology.” He also has not punished UFC people who have used homophobic slurs. At the same time, he has said the UFC would embrace a gay fighter.

The union, which has separate reasons involving organizing workers for its pressure on the UFC, is nonetheless holding White accountable. Somebody has to. White has tremendous power to discipline fighters who make homophobic remarks and simply crying that you’re not a homophobe doesn’t go far enough.

Instead of manning up and owning the fact that he was calling the comment gay (as in homosexual), he’s trying to hide behind the Wikipedia page for the word “gay”:

To say the term “gay” doesn’t refer to gay people is so absurd it almost doesn’t warrant a response. Almost. The whole reason the word became a pejorative was because calling someone gay (as in homosexual) was the worst thing you could call them. I highly doubt Bisping’s use of “gay” meant that he was calling Sonnen’s comment “strong” or “masculine.”

It’s a shame Bisping’s too much of a coward to just admit he meant what he said.
