This year, the Philadelphia Daily News switched to defense, naming Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Stewart Bradley as one of its 2009 Sexy Singles. The annual feature selects single men and women, chosen from hundreds of entries, as the hottest bachelors and bachelorettes in the region.

Bradley, who was an intern at Elle magazine during the off-season, told the paper about his dating pet peeve (“I can’t stand snotty girls”) and what he tries to find out on a date (“How does she treat people who aren’t going to advance socially in any way?
