The Boston Strikers Soccer Club announces the Provincetown Soccer Classic VI, a friendship tournament held in Provincetown, Massachusetts during Columbus Day weekend, October 11-14, 2002. The P-Town Classic welcomes players of all skill levels to play in a competitive event which emphasizes building friendships - new and old - over winning. Players who have been on rival gay and lesbian teams are put together on teams; players not associated with a regular team are mixed onto these teams. Teams will be formed from all registered participants on the eve of the games, Saturday, October 12. Tournament Games will be played on Sunday, October 13 from 9:30am - 4pm, at Motta Field, beneath the Provincetown Monument. Since this is a holiday weekend in P-Town, we recommend you make reservations as soon as possible. Information to assist you with your travel needs is also available on the web-site. Early registration along with appropriate discounts is available through September 15. Regular registration at normal rates will run through October 6. |
