  “aerodynamic” is not correct. they new suits are hydrodynamic. plus, the shape of the suit has nothing to do with its hydrodynamic properties. your jammer is not as hydrodynamic as just briefs. the reason the new suits are more hydrodynamic is that not only do they direct water around the body, but they also compress the body, making the swimmer take up less volume in the water, and therefore they need to displace less water as they moved through it.
