Thanks to Finneye for another slew of terrific shot, including three classic swimmers’ bods, plus wrestling and the start of track and field. Send us your favorite photo links. The day’s best after the jump.

Hot jocks: The Guenot brothers
August 14th, 2008 · 1 Comment
Steeve Guenot of France (right) won his country’s first wrestling gold since 1924 when he won the 66 kg (145 pounds) class in Greco-Roman wrestling. The railway worker said, “This is the most beautiful day of my life.”
Guenot’s older brother Christophe won the bronze in the 74 kg (162 pounds) class. Photo of the two brothers after the jump.

U.S. men win surprise gymnastics bronze
August 12th, 2008 · 3 Comments
When the U.S. men’s gymnastics team lost Paul and Morgam Hamm to injury, it seemed that any chance for a team medal went with them. But athletes given little chance have a way of rising to the occasion and it was true of the Americans, who won an unexpected bronze medal behind Jonathan Horton (left) and Jason Spring (right).

Boudia and Finchum 5th in hot event
August 11th, 2008 · 1 Comment
Synchronized platform diving partners David Boudia and Thomas Finchum finished a very respectable 5th place Monday in what is one of the summer Games’ hottest events. The American pair showed poise and confidence and appear ready to compete for individual medals next week, when they dive against openly gay Aussie stud Matthew Mitchum. Check out this interview with Finchum talking about how close he and Boudia are. I’m just sayin’.

Tennis Scrotums & Volleyball Studs
August 11th, 2008 · 1 Comment
So what makes tennis players such scrotums, and beach volleyball players such studs?
And before you look for your lost balls, by scrotum I mean what advice columnist Dan Savage does after being challenged on calling somone a pussy:

College guys hot for lesbian Olympian
August 10th, 2008 · 1 Comment
A blog at the University of Texas Austin ranks out lesbian handball star Gro Hammerseng 5th on their “Top 10 Sexiest Female Olympians.” The list appears to have been assembled by and for horny college guys:
Gro Hammerseng, the Norwegian handball player, can manhandle us whenever she isn’t too busy winning European championships.
Good luck with that, boys.

Hot jocks: Boxing weigh-in
August 10th, 2008 · 1 Comment
In another sign that Europeans have a more relaxed view of showing nudity comes from this five-photo gallery from the Italian Repubblica newspaper of boxers weighing in before their event, shot from behind and showing cheeks. Can’t imagine the New York Times doing the same. Boxing weigh-in gallery.

LZR suits are ruining swimming
August 9th, 2008 · 4 Comments
Swimming is underway at the Water Cube, and something is missing. On the starting blocks for Larsen Jensen’s 400m freestyle heat there wasn’t a square foot of visible flesh between the eight athletes. This is unacceptable. In the name of advanced technology and faster times swimmers are dawning full body outfits that would have the ancient Greeks rolling in their graves. (Mercifully, the divers are sticking to tradition - toned bodies in tiny trousers. The genius lies in the simplicity.)

Hot jock: Swimmer Ryan Lochte
August 9th, 2008 · No Comments
Lochte is a threat to Michael Phelps’ quest for eight gold medals when they race in the 400 IM later tonight. Lochte, 24, and Phelps are good friends, but not in the pool. Lochte, 6-2 and 185 pounds, sounds like a surfer and has a laid-back vibe.
In this photo courtesy of the USOC and NBC, take a look at Lochte’s green Polo boxers that peek out over his pants (full photo after jump).

Hot jocks: Guess whose abs these are?
August 8th, 2008 · 1 Comment
How dare NBC’s Olympics site encroach on Outsports’ turf! The site today has a cool feature where you have to guess which male swimmer has which abs. Wish I had thought of it myself. After a few seconds, the closeup dissolves to show the swimmer and his name. One more reason to watch swimming and one more reason to HATE the full-body swimsuit. Play “Guess the Abs”.
Hat tip to Juliet Pyles.

Hot jocks: Olympic tattoos

The German magazine Stern has a great online gallery of 17 Olympians and the tattoos they are sporting for Beijing on various body parts. Among them is uber-hottie flatwater canoeist Tomasz Wylenzek (right), who won a gold for Germany in 2004. Check out the tattoo gallery.

Misbehaving like Bode Miller
August 7th, 2008 · 1 Comment
It seems the U.S. Olympic Committee is so over Bode Miller (photo). For the first time ever, the group required all of its 596 Olympians to attend its crash-course on etiquette before heading to the Beijing Games. Some athletes dubbed it “the Bode Miller show” after the American skier who showed more of an interest in partying than competing during the 2006 Winter Games in Italy.
During one of the classes in Palo Alto, there was Michael Phelps snacking from a bag of candy and Ryan Lochte texting on his phone. How do you say “indifferent” in Chinese?

Olympics will be Hamm-less
August 7th, 2008 · No Comments
All-around gold medalist from 2004 Paul Hamm bowed out last month with an injury; I guess the family that tumbles together stays together. Brother Morgan (left) said a tearful good-bye to his team today as bone spurs in his leg forced him to withdraw from the team. Team USA just lost another gay-friendly athlete.
“This has been an extremely hard decision for me to make. I’ve given everything I can to be ready to compete at this Olympic Games,” Hamm said. “It’s best for me to step down and have another athlete fill my position. This is something for me that’s very tough because it’s end of my career, and it’s not the way I had planned it.”
