The USA Women’s Wheelchair Basketball team is on fire.

After pulling away from Great Britain in the final few minutes of a hard-fought quarterfinal match, the women on wheels representing Team USA did it again against China in the semifinal. The team overcame a halftime deficit to beat China, 50-47.

Team USA was led by Rose Hollerman, with 20 points. Josie Aslakson contributed five rebounds in the game, third-most on the team.

The out LGBTQ athletes on the USA Women’s Wheelchair Basketball team are the focus of Outsports’ online video series, Ballin’ Out. That includes coach Desiree Miller, as well as current players Kaitlyn Eaton, Courtney Ryan and Aslakson.

Now these women have the chance to avenge that loss, in the gold medal match of the Paris Paralympics.
